George Stella from the Food Network Program "Low Carb and Loving it" has a new website StellaStyle.com that replaces the previous one at lowcarbchefs.com. George has gained alot of low carb followers that love his show and his new cookbook out recently.
George's whole family has lost an incredible amount of weight and, unlike most TV chefs, they are active with fans and other low carbers through appearances and on the Forum on their site, too.
Can't really see that George recommends one type of LC diet over another. His type of cooking seems stricter than what is on the South Beach Diet, but I can't say its Atkins or any other diet. I have heard that the people who succees longterm in dieting end up creating a version of the diet they use that works best for them. George is terrific in coming up with great ideas for meals and dishes that fit LC, and still are satisfying and taste good.
Myself I follow a modified SB and Atkins approach that works for me, and when I find I am falling off the wagon (like recently) then I opt for a stricter carb intake and a meat fast on occasion (heard about that through one of the LC forums and I'll post a specific entry on my experience with it soon).
