I am trying to make sure I get adequate fiber as I believe that does help maintain, if not lose weight over time. I have used Benefiber in the past, and it contains 3 grams of fiber per tablespoon (1 net carb). It's tasteless, not gritty, no weird consistency so it's easy to add to drinks or foods without noticing.
I refuse to give up my coffee, so I am now adding 1 TBL of Benefiber to my morning cup (with cream). It's not noticeable at all and I hope I really am adding to my fiber with this stuff. In addition, I am doing more of a SB Diet approach (not counting carbs on that diet, you know) and eating homemade buckwheat pancakes and fiber rich wasa crackers, as well as La Tortilla Factory tortillas for sandwiches. Oh and I am eating steel cut oats for breakfast - no milk just splenda and the usual veggies (no fruit - I never was a big fruit eater anyway).
